Did you know that it’s common for older men to lose testosterone every year after age 30?

In fact, 1 out of 4 men loses testosterone. By age 60, a man has nearly half as much testosterone as he did in his 30s. Why are these dips in testosterone normal?

Testosterone affects everything from sex drive to energy levels. Over time, the body changes to meet those needs. Beyond age, levels of testosterone can vary for men for a number of other reasons.

In this guide, we’re going to cover the symptoms of low testosterone, what to look for when learning to keep watch, and how to talk to your doctor.

Read on to learn more about the sign of low testosterone.

    Fatigue

Fatigue can manifest itself in several ways, such as difficulty sleeping, decreased productivity, and an overall lack of motivation. One potential cause of these signs of fatigue may be low testosterone levels.

In men, low testosterone can contribute to a variety of physical and mental changes, but these can be difficult to diagnose because testosterone levels naturally vary over time. In treating low testosterone levels like fatigue, check this best low t treatment.

    Hair Loss

Hair loss can be a sign of low testosterone and is often the first sign of hormone imbalance that is noticed. Low testosterone levels can cause a decreased production of thick, healthy hair. The hair may become thinner and more brittle.

And, with time, hair loss can become more significant, especially weak and thinning areas at the front, sides and vertex of the scalp.

    Irritability

Low testosterone levels can cause irritability in some men. While this is often dismissed as moodiness or natural grumpiness, these bouts of irritability may be indicative of a much bigger problem. Symptoms of low testosterone can include sudden shifts in mood, ocial withdrawals, difficulty concentrating, and restlessness.

While occasional bouts of irritability are a nebulous indicator of low testosterone, the excessive irritability that doesn’t dissipate is a sure sign of concern.

    Depression

Low testosterone in men can be a sign of depression and should not be ignored. When faced with depression, men may feel tired and unmotivated, sluggish and irritable, or lose interest in activities they once enjoyed. They may also experience a decrease in sex drive, energy, and muscle mass.

Low testosterone levels can cause these symptoms to worsen and can also lead to a decrease in bone density, hot flashes, and changes to memory.

    Weight Gain

Weight Gain is a major sign of Low Testosterone in the body. Low Testosterone can lead to a decrease in muscle mass, which means that there is a lack of activity in terms of burning energy – energy that is instead stored as fat.

Changes in weight can be spotted both through scales and clothing that may be become tighter than before.

Know The Sign of Low Testosterone Today

Low testosterone can cause many physical and emotional problems, so it is important to watch for any sign of low testosterone in your body.
